Bergen's Promise is the designated Care Management Organization (CMO) for Bergen County, as part of the New Jersey Children's System of Care (CSOC).
We serve youth up to 21, with behavioral, emotional health or substance use challenges, as well as those living with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our in home, care coordination is free, voluntary and culturally competent regardless of income and insurance status. Click here for an overview of our services.
Bergen’s Promise uses a Wraparound Model of Care, and provides a fresh perspective on helping families deal with complicated emotional and behavioral issues. We believe success is best achieved when:
- The youth and family are involved in the decision making process
- There is a focus on strengths, not deficits
- Other family members, friends and community supports closest to the family get involved to offer guidance and support
- A clear plan is created to achieve the family’s long-term vision of success

Family Support Organization of Bergen County (FSOBC)
FSOBC provides education and support groups open to all families in the community and at no cost. We provide direct family-to-family peer support to families enrolled in the Care Management Organization, Bergen's Promise.

To access in-home, in-community services for children and youth up to age 21 living with behavioral, mental health or emotional issues, substance abuse issues and/or developmental or intellectual disabilities, at NO COST to families, please contact us toll-free, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at 1-877-652-7624.
Children's Mobile Response (Care Plus NJ)
Children’s Mobile responds to the needs of children and families in crisis in Bergen County. It strives to maintain children in safe and stable living arrangements by providing interventions designed to stabilize, and improve relationships within the family while also addressing areas of stress.

The New Jersey Children's System of Care (CSOC) serves youth 5-21 with emotional and behavioral health challenges, developmental and intellectual disabilities, or substance use challenges and their families.
