STRIVE is a structured skill development day habilitation program for adults ages 21 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program fosters independence, develops social/life skills, and strengthens community inclusion by honoring personal development and choice.
Life Skills
Our Support Coaches work with our members to develop daily living skills such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, household care, and money management.
Community Experiences
STRIVE emphasizes participation in community-based activities to help build socialization skills. Our activities are geared toward exploring health and wellness, outdoor adventures, restaurants, and local errands in the community.
Enriching Activities
STRIVE also features activities that promote stress reduction and enhance expression such as arts and crafts, music, technology, and exercise classes.
