Hasbrouck Heights Public Library

The Hasbrouck Heights Free Public Library offers information and entertainment to both the town and the greater community, giving patrons a safe and relaxing environment in which to conduct research, study, read and play. We offer classes, workshops, one-on-one training for common software applications, internet access, WiFi, desktops and laptop support, dedicated children's and young adult spaces, event space, and events for groups of all ages. As part of BCCLS, patrons are able to view, request, and check out items from all other libraries in the system, which spans Bergen, Hudson, Essex, and Passaic counties. 

The Hasbrouck Heights Free Public Library is committed to building community connections to reading, encouraging lifelong learning, and promoting the personal and professional pursuits of enrichment for people of all ages, interests, and abilities. 

The Hasbrouck Heights Library is in the Municipal Building, which also contains the Senior Center and several borough offices. The library is accessible through Madison and Central Avenues and Boulevard. There is a small parking lot on Central Avenue, but free street parking is also available.

Public Computers
The Library has workstations and laptops available for patron use. All are equipped with the Windows System 10 operating system and Microsoft Office 2016. Patrons may use Library computers only upon presentation of his or her valid library card. Guest passes are available for patrons without BCCLS library cards and will be dispensed at the discretion of the staff.

Mobile/Door-Side Printing
Patrons are able to print documents from any of the workstations. The cost for printing is fifteen (.15) cents per page. The Library has a patron-only designated photocopier that can print both in black and white and in color. B&W copies are fifteen (.15) cents per page and full color are fifty (.50) cents. Patrons have the option to copy onto letter-sized paper (8.5″x 11″) or legal size (8.5″ x 14″).

Instructions for Form 1040, which is used by citizens or residents of the United States to file an annual income tax return.
