We are a congregation of conscious seekers of truth about the things that matter most. We accept the guidance of basic principles on which all Unitarian Universalists agree: the inherent worth and dignity of every person, the importance of justice and compassion in human relations, governance of the community through a democratic process,  and respect for their place in an interdependent web of all existence.

Religious Education

The primary goal of our religious education program is to offer a safe community for adults, youth, and children to explore and develop their beliefs and understand our UU faith and principles.  We aim to inspire discovery, inquiry, interrelationships, and reverence for life in all its diversity and have lots of fun along the way!

UU Outreach Auction

The UU Outreach Auction of Bergen County is a yearly event that began in 2000. The auction is sponsored by two UU congregations in Bergen County: Central Unitarian Church and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Palisades, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the charities. Charities are selected for their impact on those in need in Bergen County, regardless of religious affiliation. Over the past 21 years, the event has raised over $700,000 for charity.
