The Empower House is a free voluntary program available year round designed specifically for females, ages 16 through 22, which provides clinical services and activities in a home-like atmosphere. The only commitments for clients are for them to attend one evening and one therapy session a week.
Program hours are from 12 noon to 8 p.m, Tuesday through Thursday.

The program uses a positive youth development model and incorporates trauma informed care. The program’s design fosters cohesiveness among clients and staff and provides support and services to assist young women as they transition to adulthood.
This program is run by the Bergen County Division of Family Guidance.
