Act Now Foundation

Our vision is to create a dementia-friendly New Jersey. To reduce the impact of Alzheimer's disease in New Jersey and to engage the communities to build supportive, capable, and Alzheimer's educated environments. To help caregivers become prepared, supported and more capable of coping with the communication challenges they face living and caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias.

Our services include cognitive assessments, crisis management/support groups, long-term care planning, education seminars, advocacy & outreach, and virtual dementia tours. Our services are offered both in English and in Spanish.

All of our services are FREE for Bergen and Hudson residents since we are funded in part by the Hudson County Office on Aging, the Hudson County Office of Inclusion and Accessibility, and the Bergen County Division of Senior Services. We are also funded by Essex County Division of Senior Services to provide free educational seminars for Essex residents.
