CBH Care

CBH Care provides a wide range of treatment and support services for adults. 

CBH Care’s youth-specific services address:   childhood trauma, abandonment, illness and life-challenges.  CBH Care operates the KARE program, a psychiatric residence for youth. 

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a faith-based 12-Step Recovery Program. It is a curriculum-based support group led by experienced facilitators. Our meetings are not led by licensed counselors, but ordinary people who are also looking to recover from life's hurts, hangups, or habits.

Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources (CAFS)

The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources, a Program of Children’s Aid and Family Services, provides substance misuse prevention, education, information and referral services to county residents, businesses, schools, faith-based organizations, municipal alliances and social service agencies. Many of our services are offered to the public at no cost.

The Center also provides support on the journey of recovery, including peer-to-peer recovery services, case management, resources and links to community services as well as support for individuals whose loved ones are suffering from the disease of addiction. Programs for older adults that keep them socially connected while promoting wellness and celebrating healthy aging are also offered.

Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD)

The CARD® Model utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to target customized treatment goals for each learner and to maximize progress through the use of our robust SKILLS learning curriculum.

Center for Dentistry at HUMC (Hackensack Meridian Health University Medical Center)

The Center for Dentistry welcomes everyone from children to elderly patients, regardless of their insurance coverage, specialized needs or ability to pay. The program is run by caring compassionate members of the hospital’s experienced dental staff who strictly supervise the dentists enrolled in the HUMC one-year General Dentistry Residency Program. Our front desk and clinical assistant staff provide exemplary service for all our patients.

Center for Discovery

Center for Discovery provides partial hospital (day treatment) and intensive outpatient eating disorders services for all genders, starting at age 11 and through adulthood.

Center for Food Action (CFA)

The mission of the Center for Food Action is to prevent hunger and homelessness and improve the lives of individuals and families living in poverty.

Center for Great Expectations (CGE)

CGE is a non-profit human service and health care organization providing an uncompromised continuum of care across prevention and treatment of substance use and mental health disorders, for individuals who have experienced trauma. Programs include residential treatment centers for pregnant and parenting women and their children.

Center for Hope and Safety

Center for Hope and Safety (formerly Shelter Our Sisters) is dedicated to assisting victims, and their children, of domestic violence by turning fear into safety, helplessness into strength, and isolation into hope.  The PALS (PEACE: A Learned Solution) provides services for children exposed to domestic violence.    There is also a 24 hour hotline.

The Center for Modern Dance Education (CMDE) is a non-profit community arts organization with the mission to promote modern dance and related art forms and make it available to everyone while serving as a resource for the professional dance community.

In Newark, the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) offers comprehensive risk and needs assessment, outpatient mental health and addictions services, 24/7 in-person and telephonic crisis stabilization services, case management, primary care screening and monitoring, peer and family support services, person centered treatment planning, and coordination with health care and social service providers.
