The Venture Program Junior and High School is a school designed to address the therapeutic and educational needs of students in grades seven through twelve, who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital or are currently exhibiting serious psychiatric symptoms.
This program is operated in collaboration with the Division of Family Guidance (DFG), which provides all of the mental health supports for Venture students. DFG on-site therapeutic staff includes Consulting Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Psychologist, Art Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Crisis Counselors. There is a full array of psychiatric services including diagnosis, recommendation and provision of prescriptions, medication monitoring, crisis intervention, individual, group and family psychotherapy.

The Bergen County Specials Services CAPE Resource Center connects individuals and families with special needs to appropriate resources and services, regardless of age or disability.
Division of Family Guidance
Bergen County's Division of Family Guidance provides FREE mental health, homeless prevention, and crisis services to at-risk children, adolescents, and families, particularly those who are otherwise unable to receive needed services. It is Bergen County's resource for youth and families in need.
