Teen T.H.R.I.V.E. Recovery (Think. Healthy. Respect. Inspire. Values. Empowerment)

  • An adolescent group therapy program for teens from the ages of 13 to 17 with substance abuse/ dependency from Bergen and surrounding counties.
  • Medicaid, Charity Care or Insurance pre-authorized with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. Referrals can be made from the following: Care Management Organization (CMO), Probation, Schools, Parents, Child Protection & Permanency (CP&P).

Teen T.H.R.I.V.E. Mission Statement:

  • To increase awareness that addiction is a ‘family disease’ by incorporating family and collaborating with them to help deter future chemical abuse/dependency. This is accomplished through building self-esteem and respect for both self and others by learning and applying drug-free behavioral and positive coping skills to everyday life.

Teen T.H.R.I.V.E. Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday – 4:00 pm-6:00 pm (Group Sessions)
  • Tuesdays – Early Intervention Program – 4:00pm-5:30pm (Group Session)
  • Individual sessions scheduled for each client, once weekly.
  • Family Sessions: Scheduled based on parent/ guardian's availability.
