Literacy Volunteers of Pascack Valley is a non-profit literacy program dedicated to assisting adults in our community learn English as a Second Language. We teach the most basic survival skills up through advanced reading and writing skills. LVPV is a member of Literacy NJ and fully accredited by ProLiteracy.
We provide:
- One-on-One tutoring at all levels
- Small group tutoring
- Conversation Classes
- Group Language Classes
- Tutor Training Workshops taught by a certified instructor
- Access to a core collection of ESL materials appropriate for tutors and students

LVPV Offers FREE Online Classes
Students of LVPV member libraries are able to enroll in free online classes taught by certified ESL Teachers.

- Intermediate classes, Monday and Fridays from 11am - 12:30pm

- Advanced Beginner/Intermediate classes, Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm
