Greater Bergen Community Action's Lead Program makes homes lead-safe by providing preliminary test for the presence of hazardous lead-based paint in your home, and if confirmed, either remediating or abating it.
| Eligibility | One to four family house built prior to 1978; Income up to 80% of the Area Median Income for Bergen County; any household where a member receives Food Stamps, TANF, Adoption Subsidy or SSI is eligible regardless of total household income; both homeowners and renters may apply; resident of Bergen County, the City of Paterson, or the City of Passaic. |
