Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC)

The Bergen County Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) educates and evaluates drunk and drugged drivers, boaters, and underage drinkers who have been convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI). These offenders are mandated by the court to participate in the IDRC program. Non-compliant offenders face revocation of their licenses and possible incarceration.

The two-day program includes six hours per day of drug and alcohol education as well as screening, treatment referral, and monitoring when indicated.

The IDRC is conducted under the auspices of the Bergen County Department of Health Services, Office of Alcohol and Drug Dependency.
