Haworth Municipal Library

The mission of the Haworth Municipal Library is to inform, educate, and enrich our community. Haworth Library has many great events and programs for all ages. For example:

Children's Room

We have tons of picture books, books for early readers, young readers, kids' audiobooks, cds, a computer with kid-friendly games, a drawing table if the mood strikes, children's books in Spanish and Korean.  We've also added story kits, a Nintendo Switch and 4 small instruments for you to borrow.

Young Adult Room

Tweens and Teens have a place all for themselves now in the Haworth Library's Young Adult Room....with both study space and a comfy sofa that invites a young patron just to relax and read the latest novels.  Along with YA Fiction, we have YA audiobooks and magazines, like Teen Vogue, the latest manga books, and anime movies and selections for gaming enthusiasts in Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4!

Adult Programs:

  • ESL Class
    Mondays at 10:30 am
    Small group learning by instructor Regina Eftychiou. 

  • Tai Chi 
    Mondays at 1:30 pm
    With Hasmig Mekjian, China-trained certified teacher
    Free. Please call the library to check dates and to register. 

  • Adult Bookclub
    Led by staff member, Mary Sue Ehrenberg. 
    Please check at the library for the selected title and meeting dates. 

  • Dance for Fun, Fitness and Friendship
    Every Monday at 10:30 am - 
    Led by Joyce DeSantis - Sponsored by the Woman's Club of Haworth
    No experience or partners necessary.
