The Eating Disorders Program at Goryeb Children’s Hospital is the only multidisciplinary program in New Jersey exclusively for children and adolescents. We offer education and treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and related disorders in our partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program.
Our multidisciplinary program has a team of health care professionals that includes board-certified adolescent medicine physicians, psychologists, a psychiatrist, a child life specialist, nurses, social workers, therapists and nutritionists – all of whom are specially trained in providing comprehensive assessments and treatments for eating disorders and related problems. In addition, several of our therapists are certified in Family-Based Treatment by the Training Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders.

Located on the campus of Morristown Medical Center and part of Atlantic Health System Children's Health, Goryeb Children’s Hospital is a nonprofit, state-designated “Children’s Hospital”. We have more than 250 community pediatricians on staff and more than 100 board-certified pediatric specialists.
Kid-Fit Med (Goryeb Children's Hospital)
Goryeb Children’s Hospital offers a six-month, medically-supervised weight management program called Kid-Fit Med. It is available to children ages 5 to 18 who have a body mass index (BMI) greater than the 95th percentile for their age or have a lower BMI with weight-associated health problems.
