Displaced homemaker programs help women like you obtain or upgrade skills for today's labor market. The goal is to help you become economically self-sufficient by providing education, job readiness training, networking, outreach, referrals and emotional support.

Division of Family Guidance

Bergen County's Division of Family Guidance provides FREE mental health, homeless prevention, and crisis services to at-risk children, adolescents, and families, particularly those who are otherwise unable to receive needed services. It is Bergen County's resource for youth and families in need.   

Do You Have Your Will in Place? - Free Wills Under 60 (NNJLS)

Northeast NJ Legal Services Pro-Bono Department is now offering Wills to people under 60! This means that if you or someone you know lives in Hudson, Bergen, or Passaic County and meet our income guidelines, they can create their Living Will, Last Will and Testament or a Power of Attorney (financial or medical) for FREE.

Eating Disorder Program (Goryeb Children's Hospital)

The Eating Disorders Program at Goryeb Children’s Hospital is the only multidisciplinary program in New Jersey exclusively for children and adolescents. We offer education and treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and related disorders in our partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program.

Edgewater Housing Authority

It is the mission of the Edgewater Housing Authority to provide affordable housing services for the low and moderate income residents of the Borough.

The Housing Authority utilizes financial resources primarily provided by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development through the Public Housing Program and the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

Education, Careers and Lifelong Community (ECLC)

ECLC stands for offering "Education, Careers & Lifelong Community" to children and adults with special needs, including autism, Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. ECLC was launched in 1970 as the "Early Childhood Learning Center" by a group of parents and others to provide early-intervention services to a handful of pre-school children.
