Mindfulness: What You Need to Know

This workshop will shed light on mindfulness and how it can impact an individual’s emotional and physical well-being. Mindfulness emphasizes living in the moment and awakening to experiences. Some benefits of mindfulness include: self-control, objectivity, tolerance, enhanced flexibility, equanimity, improved concentration and mental clarity, emotional intelligence and the ability to relate to others and one’s self with kindness, acceptance and compassion.
