About the Training: The Strengthening Families Framework identifies the characteristics that, when present and robust in families, make families stronger and child abuse and neglect less likely to occur. In your role as a professional who works with children, you are in a great position to promote these characteristics, called Protective Factors, through small but significant changes in how you approach your work. Bringing the Protective Factors Framework to Life* is a training that gives real world examples of the strategies the framework lays out to promote these important family characteristics.* Used with permission by the National Alliance of Children's Trust and Prevention Funds.
