"WHEN BROADWAY GOES DARK, VAN DYK GOES LIVE": BROADWAY STARS HONORS FAMILIES BATTLING ALZHEIMER'S

On Monday, November 12, 2018, a day when Broadway shows are off, Broadway stars Catherine Brunell (Les Miserables & Something Rotten!), Major Attaway (Aladdin & Ain’t Misbehavin’), Natalie Cortez (A Chorus Line & West Side Story) and James Moye (Dear Evan Hansen & Million Dollar Quartet) will bring their talent across the Hudson River to perform in “When Broadway Goes Dark, Van Dyk Goes Live,” a benefit concert to honor families battling Alzheimer’s.

The concert will be held at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, New Jersey and is hosted by Van Dyk Health Care, New Jersey’s leading care provider in assisted living, home care, memory care and Alzheimer’s day care.  A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to CaringKind, NYC’s leading expert on Alzheimer’s and dementia caregiving for more than three decades, and Alzheimer’s New Jersey, a trusted resource for New Jersey families batting Alzheimer’s and dementia.

CaringKind was formerly known as the Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter. Alzheimer’s New Jersey was formerly known as Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter.

November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month.
