Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care is hosting a screening of the award-winning new documentary film Swim Team, an inspiring look at the rise of a competitive swim team of teens on the autism spectrum. Following three teammates on the cusp of adulthood, when government services become scarce, Swim Team is a portrait of diverse American families grappling with the problem of “aging out."
“Swim Team...will give you hope that kindness and heart can be a guiding light for families from all backgrounds...The Hammerheads of New Jersey are a team of extraordinary kids, parents, and coaches trying to make a difference in the world one stroke at a time.”--Liz Whittemore, Reel News Daily
