RISE (The Recovery & Individualized Support Expansion Program) (Care Plus NJ)

Care Plus is now offering free supportive services for youth and young adults in the community who may be at risk for substance use, or who are current struggling with substance use related concerns.

The Recovery & Individualized Support Expansion (RISE) program is designed to remove barriers and address the gaps in services that hinder the recovery efforts of adolescents and young adults (ages 14-30). This is accomplished through the provision of targeted wraparound services that affect early recovery efforts. RISE provides specialized supportive services to help individuals identify and achieve personal goals in a supportive and personal-centered environment. For more information or to make a referral, call (201) 265-8200.

Types of services offered:

  • Early intervention training or education; groups or individual work
  • Obtaining employment; resume building
  • Engaging or re-engaging in education; managing challenges of remote learning
  • Peer recovery support; managing recovery efforts, engaging in treatment
  • Case management needs; legal, social services, medical, housing

Services are now also offered virtually.
