Reflections is a volunteer teen theater program that runs throughout the school year to prepare and present improvised scenes on a variety of topics and timely issues. The purpose of the performances is to provide a forum for discussion.

The Adolescent and Family Therapy Program (AFT) offers psychological outpatient services for Bergen County adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17½ who do not have medical insurance or the financial resources to pay for psychological or psychiatric treatment.  AFT services are provided FREE of charge.

The Juvenile/Family Crisis Intervention Unit (JFCIU) is available 24/7 to provide crisis intervention and counseling services to juveniles and families.

The JFCIU addresses situations involving a serious conflict between a parent/guardian and a juvenile, runaway, truancy, school avoidance/phobia, or human trafficking concerns

C.A.T.S. is a therapeutic after-school program designed to help improve the social skills of elementary and middle school-aged children ages 7-12 years old. The C.A.T.S. program includes play-based group therapy, art therapy, therapeutic recreational activities and family support services.

An after-school program with visual arts, music, dance, cooking, and homework help for Bergen County youth ages 13-18. The Center provides a positive, safe, professionally staffed and supportive environment.

Program designed for young women ages 16-22 who may benefit from extra support from both peers and role models in a warm and nurturing home-like setting. The program offers therapeutic, prosocial, and recreational services year round.

Bergen’s Place Youth Shelter is a state licensed residential crisis and homeless shelter for youth ages 11-17. Runaway, homeless and at risk youth may access the program on a walk in or referral basis 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Shelter Plus Care is a permanent supportive housing program that provides HUD housing vouchers and support services to assist young people in acquiring sustainable housing and functioning in an independent living setting.

Visions is a transitional living program that provides a residence for young people who lack the skills to live completely independently in the community. The program serves 16½ to 22 yr old male and female residents who have no place else to live. In addition to a residence, clients are provided with academic, psychological, and vocational support.

Bergen County's Division of Family Guidance provides FREE mental health, homeless prevention, and crisis services to at-risk children, adolescents, and families, particularly those who are otherwise unable to receive needed services. It is Bergen County's resource for youth and families in need.   

Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) is a goal-oriented, comprehensive treatment program designed to serve multi-problem youth in their community. MST is a home-based program that helps youth with chronic behaviors such as school avoidance, truancy, serious disobedience, aggressive behavior, running away, and substance abuse.

The Bridges to Employment Program is a job-readiness, career development program to assist participants to become effective members of the workforce.

Connections is an all day GED preparation program to increase participants' chances to succeed in life.

The JFCIU provides 24/7 telephonic intervention as well face-to-face services at the police station (after hours) & at the JFCIU office (daytime hours), to assist in managing conflicts between adolescents and parents, as well as situations involving endangered juveniles, runways, or truancy, school avoidance/phobia. If necessary, the JFCIU can facilitate emergency shelter placement and/or authorization for transport to the hospital for mental health assessment when the parent/guardian cannot consent.

The Venture Program Junior and High School is a school designed to address the therapeutic and educational needs of students in grades seven through twelve, who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital or are currently exhibiting serious psychiatric symptoms.

The TUTER program is available as a diversion option for school districts, mental health providers and law enforcement to address situations of youth involved with sexting.

The TEACH program is available by referral from a school district, mental health provider and/or from law enforcement to address situations of youth involved with cyber harassment.

A summer program for Bergen County teens who have just completed 8th grade through those who just graduated high school, who would like to spend time over the summer, learning improvisation, participating in performances and workshops, and meeting other teens with similar interests. Cast members can participate as little or as much as their summer schedule allows.

A licensed outpatient program providing comprehensive substance abuse services for youth and families. Services include individual counseling, group counseling, and relapse prevention for male and female youth between the ages of 13 and 17.

Psychoeducational program designed for youth demonstrating bias related behaviors in school, home, internet or community settings

The Children's Resource Center (CRC) offers free after-school programming for Bergen County children ages 10-12. The CRC provides a positive, safe, professionally staffed and supportive environment.
