  Text, Power, Telling Writing Workshop (healingSPACE)

  "Text, Power, Telling" is a monthly writing workshop hosted at healingSPACE: Bergen County's designated sexual violence resource center. This workshop is trauma-informed and will empower survivors to write about their experience and hear from others - it is designed by survivors, for survivors.

  Young Adult Female Support Group (healingSPACE)

  This an open female-identified support group for victims and survivors of sexual abuse and violence ages 17-25. This is an ongoing therapeutic group that is led by a Masters-level licensed clinician. It will meet every other Tuesday night beginning September 20th.

  Female-identified Sexual Violence Support Group (healingSPACE)

  This an open female-identified support group for victims and survivors of sexual abuse and violence. This is an ongoing therapeutic group that is led by a Masters-level licensed clinician.

  Group Meets Two meetings per month

  YWCA Northern NJ Empower U(niversity) Girl Leadership Academy

  Empower (u) is the YWCA NNJ’s 10 month girls personal, professional, and empowerment program that covers topics such as self-care, personal strengths/interests, career/college readiness, and more! Students will have the opportunity to explore themselves, connect with an inspiring network of female mentors, and develop skills to motivate growth and success. Empower U participation is $100. Scholarships are available for qualifying applicants.

  healingSPACE: The Sexual Violence Resource Center in Bergen County

  healingSPACE is the sexual violence resource center for all of Bergen County. We provide a confidential, trauma-informed support to victims and survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones, including our crisis 24/7 hotline and other services. Support is available to anyone ages 13 years and up who has experienced sexual trauma, whether it happened hours or years ago.

  24-Hour Sexual Violence Hotline (healingSPACE)

  This hotline is for anyone with questions or concerns regarding sexual violence. Trained advocates provide support, information, referral, and crisis interventions to survivors, their loved ones, and the community. This is a free and confidential 24/7 hotline.

  Group Meets Monday, 6:30-8pm

  Male-identified Sexual Violence Support Group (healingSPACE)

  This an open male-identified support group for victims and survivors of sexual abuse and violence. This is an ongoing therapeutic group that is led by a Masters-level licensed clinician. Open enrollment and is 25+. This group will begin January 9th, 2023.
