Dear Black Male... (Behavioral Health Matters)

This course addresses the inequities and misrepresentation of Black males in media and society today. It highlights the unique issues that Black males face and endure. Participants will explore cultural mistrust, how this influences their perceptions, and the quality of relationships.

Each Black male has distinct needs; therefore, it is essential to identify relevant means to engage and support each. Participants will examine how efforts to adequately provide for Black males can be linked to the fight for larger social justice goals for individuals and their communities.
