2023 Family & Individual Needs for Disability Supports (FINDS) Survey (The Arc)
The Research and Training Center on Community Living at the University of Minnesota, in collaboration with The Arc of the United States, is conducting this survey. The Arc is a national disability organization that promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and supports their inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. The Research and Training Center on Community Living conducts research to change national policy and practice in community living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This survey seeks information from caregivers to answer the following questions: What are the life experiences of caregivers and their family members with IDD? What are the most difficult or stressful aspects of caregiving? What is most rewarding about it? What would make life easier or better for caregivers, their families, and people with IDD they support across the life course?
- The survey can be completed online and is available in English, Spanish, and French.
- Those who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to win one of six $250 gift cards.
- Your perspective is important and can help create a future of better supports and opportunities for people with IDD and their families!
