Summer DBT Intensive For College Students
Our Summer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills intensive Program will met weekly over an 8-week period during the summer. This intensive will provide an introduction to all four DBT skill sets during the summer (instead of the usual 6-month time period). This group program will be held on Thursdays from 5-7pm. the start date will be May 25th (however individuals can start at any point during the summer as the skills will be repeated throughout the summer and into early fall).
The program is for college students and young adults who are struggling with emotion regulation issues, depression, anxiety disorders, stress, interpersonal problems, self-regulation difficulties/self-hard urges, eating issues, or impulsivity.
What are the four DBT skill sets? The skills from DBT are especcially designed to help people who struggle with emotion regulation difficulties.
- Core Mindfulness
- Distress Tolerance
- Emotion Regulation
- Impersonal Effectiveness
This DBT Summer Intensive Program will meet on Thursdays from 5-7pm during Summer 2023.
