Serious About STEM (SAS) Girls Winter 2023 Workshop (YWCA)

Our SAS program is a free virtual STEM workshop program for young female students ages 9-14! This 8-week learning experience will introduce STEM concepts to young girls, helping them discover and explore environmental science through weekly conversations and hands-on activities.

Topics include polar science, climate change, water, working with data, and much more. Workshops will feature guest speakers and educators from Veolia, Montclair State University, and 4-H. This program is free for all female students in Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Hudson, and Essex counties.

It begins February 21st and will meet every Tuesday 4:30-5:30PM via Zoom through April 11th! This virtual series also features two in-person educational field trip opportunities - more information will be provided after registration.
