2021 Walk to Fight Alzheimer's (Alzheimer's New Jersey)

Join the fight against Alzheimer’s today. Let New Jersey families know they are not alone in this difficult journey. When you walk with Alzheimer's New Jersey, 100% of your donations support New Jersey individuals and families.

To ensure that families have the support they need during this time of historic change and challenge, we have modified this year’s Walk schedule. The season will start earlier – with 2 walks scheduled late spring followed by 3 in the fall.

Our goal is to enable more people to participate while providing sponsors with the unique visibility these walks offer. This is one of many changes we have made this past year so Alzheimer’s New Jersey can continue to serve New Jersey communities the best way possible during COVID-19. Of course, the safety and health of our walkers will always be a priority.

COVID-19 has brought many changes to our lives. But for New Jersey families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease, life changed with these frightening words, “It’s Alzheimer’s disease.”

A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or other dementia is devastating for families. It causes isolation, anxiety, and exhaustion—feelings that many of us have experienced because of the COVID-19 health crisis.

68% of New Jersey residents say they know someone who has or had Alzheimer’s and today, over 600,000 New Jersey residents have Alzheimer’s or are caring for someone with the disease. New Jersey families desperately need help navigating the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease now during the pandemic and beyond. And that is what your support of this year's Walk to Fight Alzheimer’s will do and why your support is so important.
