SPAN Resource Parent Training

The SPAN Resource Parent (SRP) course is provided via six weekly five-hour sessions. Individuals who complete the entire training series receive a compilation of useful local, state, and national resources and will then be prepared to share information with families about issues or concerns they may have about their child's education and development.

Without training and awareness of these conditions, tragic consequences often ensue when effected individuals come in contact with law enforcement. However, these contacts can often be easily resolved when the officers and professionals involved have the information, they need to navigate what can be a complex situation.

Disability professionals, rehab and health professionals, speech and language specialists, social workers, and case managers throughout NJ will attend a full-day seminar on the latest in brain injury research, best practices, clinical innovation, and rehabilitation strategies. A keynote presentation and nine workshops will be presented.
