The Guttenberg Center for Special Services is committed to the belief that all individuals have access to appropriate social, recreational, cultural and educational experiences in natural community settings with appropriate supports. Our programs are designed to meet the specific needs of our participants. Our goal is to support an inclusive, nurturing environment and community, allowing each individual the opportunity to reach his or her own potential.

Programs at the Guttenberg Center for Special Services are open to both JCC members and the public. A minimum of 4 participants is required to run any program or class. Individuals with special needs are encouraged to participate in all JCC programming and classes.

Camp Haverim (Kaplen JCC on the Palisades)
Camp Haverim is a unique two-week camp for children and teens with autism and other intellectual, cognitive and developmental exceptionalities, who attend 11 months of special schooling. Ages 3-21

Neil Klatskin Day Camp provides the ultimate summer of outdoor adventure, friendship, and nonstop fun. Days are filled with a diverse range of activities that allow each camper to explore their interests in a warm and safe environment.
Kaplen JCC on the Palisades Senior Services
The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades Senior Services offers a continuum of programs to support seniors aging in place successfully. Our mission is to keep seniors social, mobile and actively engaged while providing a renewed sense of purpose.
