2023 College & Career Readiness Program (Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc.)

The mission of this program is to increase college and career awareness for high school girls in 9th and 10th grade.

Participants will:

  • Visit colleges in NJ, NY, and PA
  • Tour new, local, and Fortune 500 companies
  • Receive mentorship from leading professionals
  • Attend personal and professional development workshops.

You are encouraged to dial “2-1-1” 24 hours a day, seven days a week if you need confidential help in understanding and finding available assistance services. 

21st Century Community Learning Centers Program

The 21st Century Community Learning Center is a federally funded program supported by the New Jersey Department of Education for out-of-school time programs in New Jersey, which include before-school, afterschool or summer.

24-Hour ADV Domestic Violence Crisis Hotline (Alternatives to Domestic Violence)

Bergen County's Alternatives to Domestic Violence (ADV) operates a confidential 24-hour hotline that offers free emotional support and crisis response services to all persons who may be struggling with abuse or unhealthy dynamics in their relationships. The hotline provides callers with quickly accessible information about the warning signs of abuse, how to develop safety plans, and how to access a broad range of services and supports in the community.

24-Hour Sexual Violence Hotline (healingSPACE)

This hotline is for anyone with questions or concerns regarding sexual violence. Trained advocates provide support, information, referral, and crisis interventions to survivors, their loved ones, and the community. This is a free and confidential 24/7 hotline.

2NDFLOOR Youth Helpline

This is a youth helpline serving all youth and young adults in New Jersey. Youth who call are assisted with their daily life challenges by professional staff and trained volunteers. Anonymity and confidentially are assured except in life-threatening situations. We are here to help you find solutions to the problems that you face at home, at school or at play.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

New Jerseyans are now able to use the new, three-digit number 988 to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. 988 will be available for call, text, or chat for those experiencing a mental health-related or suicidal crisis, or those looking to help a loved one through a crisis.

A Friendly Face

A Friendly Face provide ABA services in home, clinics, schools and community settings which include assessing initial skills, behavioral assessment and program development. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts, behavioral specialists and special instructors provide an empirical approach to working with your child.

A Friendly Face - Autism Treatment Services

AFF is a provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), practicing in all five boroughs of New York City and some areas of New Jersey. We have four physical locations for our treatment/social skills/practicum centers in Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Bayonne NJ.

    A Joyful Noise Worship (Ridgewood United Methodist Church)

    Ridgewood United Methodist Church proves a ministry for families with special needs children.  Every Sunday at 11 AM in the Chapel. The service is non-denominational, not too long and physically and spiritually accessible for all God's children. 

    A Partnership For Change (APFC)

    APFC is dedicated to ending intimate partner violence through the provision of education and outreach programs. We also provide crisis intervention, counseling, and referrals to victims within our programs.
