The New Jersey Public Health Association, in collaboration with the Rutgers University School of Public Health, will be holding a conference on Health Equity on October 2. Entitled "What Dictates Health - Is It Genetics or Zip Code? Health Equity, Research and Policy for New Jersey", the conference will be held at the Paul Robeson Campus Center of Rutgers University in Newark. Featured speakers include Pamela M. Aaltonen, PhD, RN, President-elect, American Public Health Association, and Denise V. Rodgers, MD, Vice Chancellor, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences and Director of the Rutgers Urban Health and Wellness Institute. This conference is sponsored by New Jersey Health Initiatives and the Health Equity Initiative.
