The IPVA (Intimate Partner Violence Advocate) Certification Series is a dynamic and comprehensive program developed and provided by A Partnership for Change (APFC), a NJ-based non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence through the provision of education and awareness programs.
1 in 4 women and 1 in 3 teenage girls are victims of intimate partner abuse; if you work in education, healthcare, counseling, social/family services, it's likely you're working with victims.
- Do you know how to safely and effectively respond?
- Are you aware of the risks associated with leaving?
- Do you know how to develop a safety plan?
- Do you know of resources for support and referral?
IPVA answers these questions and more.
