Mindfulness is a purposeful way of focusing attention in the present moment. It promotes a presence in the here and now that is often lost in today’s fast-paced society. This workshop is designed for K-12 teachers, administrators and instructional aides/support who are interested in a more mindful school culture and learning about developing a personal mindfulness practice, as well as basic steps to begin to incorporate mindfulness into their classroom.
