"Disordered Gambling" 6 CE's for $65!

The American Psychiatric Association renamed and reclassified Gambling Disorder in the DSM5.  This change reflects the recognition and escalation of problem and disordered gambling.  Training in the treatment and prevention of problem gambling is available. However, there are only a few mental health professionals with specialized training in this area.  This course will provide participants with a practical understanding of gambling and problem gambling by exploring: the impact that problem gambling has on the individual and family members; the identification of individuals with a gambling disorder, the progression of the disorder and services available for individuals with disordered gambling and their families.  This workshop will also include an overview of the impact of disordered gambling on special populations.
