CEC Veteran's Project - 256-530 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City
CEC is working with Tantum Real Estate to lease-up a new property “256-530 Ocean Avenue” in Jersey City. This property will be a four-story, 20-unit mixed use multi-family rental building with ground floor commercial space that will house social service agencies. Other amenities include outdoor patio area, common laundry room, and enclosed bike storage. The unit mix includes a range of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts which will cater to both individuals and families with a preference for veteran households. We anticipate initial move-in’s to occur this summer.
We wanted to give your clients an opportunity to apply for this housing resource. Applications and eligibility requirements will become available on our website www.communityenterprisescorporation.org and Collaborative Support Programs’ website www.cspnj.org on March 22, 2021. The application intake period will be from March 22nd through May 22, 2021.
It is imperative that applicants answer all questions on the application to avoid denial. Once the application intake period closes, the method used to select initial applicants will be from a lottery system and not on a first come, first serve basis. Any applications postmarked earlier than March 22nd or later than May 22nd will be denied.
