  The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources is offering an interactive, reflective, and introspective 2 hour program for adolescents who are experimenting with alcohol or other substances, or whose parents are concerned about potential use. The program is available at no cost to families and includes an educational component for parents and caregivers.

  What's Your Natural High? - Social Media Campaign (The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources/CAFS)

  This campaign, funded through the Bergen County Office of Alcohol and Drug Dependency, was created by teens for teens and is available for any organization that is interested in using it.

  Community Reinforcement and Family Training Support Group (CRAFT) (The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources/CAFS)

  Fair Lawn

  The Community Reinforcement and Family Training support group teaches a skill-based approach to building better communication with loved ones who have any kind of addiction. CRAFT also emphasizes that family members of substance users must take care of themselves.

  Mental Health outpatient services to children, ages 4-17, and their families.

  We offer:   

  • Individual Child Therapy
  • Family Therapy and Parent Support and Guidance

  EPIC Parenting Program (The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources/CAFS)

  In 12 two-hour sessions, you will learn to keep the “loving connection” from infancy, through elementary school, throughout the difficult years of adolescence, and beyond. Groups are generally made up of 8-12 people of all ages, who may be single parents or couples, and come from various backgrounds.

  Strengthening Families Program (The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources/CAFS)

  This is a multi-week program that is aimed at parents and/or caregivers and their youth ages 10-14.  The program helps parents and caregivers build on their strengths in showing love and setting limits, helps youth develop skills for building a positive future, and helps families grow together and become stronger.

  Bergen County Prevention Coalition (BCPC)

  The Bergen County Prevention Coalition (BCPC) is a collaboration of individuals and organizations that are committed to, and passionate about reducing the rates of alcohol and drug use among youth and young adults in Bergen County.

  The Bergen County Prevention Hub is an initiative of The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources which is a program of Children’s Aid and Family Services. Bergen County’s Prevention Hub was created in collaboration with The New Jersey Prevention Network (NJPN) to support the members of our community by providing a direct link to evidence based support services and educational programs.
