The Hinkle, Prior & Fischer law firm devotes its entire practice to serving people with disabilities, the elderly, and their families. In this workshop, participants will learn how to apply for and maximize a range of government benefits as their adult child transitions from an educational entitlement to adult services. Ms. Fischer will discuss SSI, SSDI, and Medicaid; Guardianship; Waiting lists; and DDD services.

As the mother of a daughter with multiple disabilities, Maria Fischer’s legal work focuses on guardianship, estate planning, and helping families of adults with disabilities access and retain appropriate services. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars.
