14th Annual Project Homeless Connect (PHC) - Point-In-Time (PIT) (Bergen County Human Services Advisory Council)

PHC-PIT is an annual one-day nationwide event in which partner agencies and volunteers come together to help provide access to services for those struggling with homelessness by fostering collaboration between non-profit, public, private and individual volunteers.

Individuals experiencing homelessness or who may be at risk of homelessness will have the opportunity to receive a variety of support services such as:

  • information on housing
  • legal and social services,
  • substance abuse counseling
  • mental health support
  • medical services
  • food, clothing
  • free hairstyling and grooming
  • veterans services
  • employment services

In conjunction with PHC, a Point-in-Time (PIT) survey will be administered across the county that will help determine the number of people who are homeless in our communities. We are asking you to help us gather this data that provides us with valuable information that will help the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development fund initiatives that will help us prevent and end homelessness in Bergen County.    REGISTER (as a volunteer, agency/resource table, administer the PIT survey, join the STREET TEAM)
